The Pumpkin Man triathlon in Nevada.  My brother Chris, Jay, and our friend Derek posing pre-race, it was a little different smile in the post-race pictures!  This was a tough course, all hills!  I was almost in tears watching some of the racers struggling to make it up these hills, at the same time I was thinking you're the one who signed up for this!  I'm mean, I know.  Jay did awesome, this was really a tough course, and he managed to keep a smile on his face and cracking jokes with fellow racers and us when he went by.   The finish, Jay style,  jumping and clicking his heels together as he crossed over the finish line!

Jacyn cracks me up, she falls to sleep in the most random positions.  I guess I should put her to bed before midnight.

We had TWO students of the month, but I forgot the camera for Jaedyn's award ceremony.  I'm sure she'll use that one against me later on in life!

We got a chance to go the rodeo with my parents out in California, the kids had so much fun putting on the hats, shirts and boots.  I should say the girls had fun, Jackson was too cool to wear a hat or shirt and definitely NO to the boots!

Our superstar athlete!  A soccer game in the morning and a football game at night!  This was Jackson's first football game it was so exciting!  That boy can move!  He ran nonstop!

Our pretty girls!

Yep, that's another cast!!! She did it again, three casts in 6 months she should get a medal or something!  So she was at a gymnastics competition doing the vault.  It was a beautiful double back handspring with a double ali twist just landed a little wrong.....okay it sounds better than she was doing a cartwheel in our front yard and broke it!  She heard a pop and started to scream, of course the great parents we are we waited a day to take her to the doctors.  It had broke exact same spot and arm, just a different angle!  I love being a parent!  Bubble wrap thats all I am going to say about that!
So I finished Jaedyns quilt!  It was a beast.  I think it turned out nice.  Jackson wants one now with skulls and flames on it, yeah right little man!

The devil herself!
Can't you see it in her eyes?

This was at our Castle family reunion.  They had a huge slip n' slide for the kids and big kids! We had so much fun on this.  I wanted to post this picture so I have it to show my kids that mom can be fun too, not just dad!
